At the recent Mines and Money London show, Rick Rule, CEO, Sprott US Holdings pointed out that many majors had recognised that they need to change and now have a renewed focus on exploration.

In Australia, exploration budgets increased by nearly US$200 million in 2019. Explorers allocated just over US$1.5 billion to Australia in 2019, a seven-year high. These increases were driven by higher allocations for copper and gold by producers. With gold recently reaching a 7 year high, expect gold exploration investment to increase in 2020.

So what opportunities does this create for exploration in the Australian mining industry? Register now for our webinar taking place Wednesday 12th February, 13:00 HKT.
